ABOUT US
Confusion Festival is a non-profit music festival created by friends for friends, located in Ostpriegnitz-Ruppin. It's the perfect place to enjoy great music, good company, and unforgettable memories.
With the 4th edition of Confusion festival we want to create a place that lives from the creative spirit of its participants.
We see Confusion as a special kind of free space created by all of us. We want Confusion to retain its very personal and intimate character in the future. We therefore want to draw a line at the number of participants where anonymity would otherwise loom. We invite you to get involved, bring your creativity, your helping hands. The thought is to create a space from friends for friends.
We treat each other with consideration, respect boundaries and create a safer space for all identities. We treat the premises with care, for which not only us six hosts are responsible.
AWARENESS
Confusion aims to be a safer space for everyone participating. We do not tolerate racist, sexist or transgressive behavior in any way, shape or form. Therefore, we organize a holistic awareness concept including approachable awareness staff and a safer space tent where you can retreat from any external influence. More details will follow at the festival.
SHOWERS/TOILETS
We heard you. This year, there are going to be 7 Dixies.
Plus, we built an outdoor shower where you can wash off the dust. If you would like some comfort, you may purchase hot shower credits. Please pay 2€ / shower directly to Luisa.
GETTING INVOLVED
Confusion is a community-based non-profit project. We are looking for helpers for the following tasks. There are enough shifts for everyone to get involved.
1) Bar
2) Coffee Bar
3) Food preparation
4) Awareness
5) Door shift
6) Collecting trash
7) Help detach the whole thing
8) Toilet cleaning
HOW TO FIND US
Somewhere in Ostprignitz-Ruppin. We'll post the exact location in due time.
DRINKS
We run a well-supplied, fairly priced Bar at the festival. There is no need to bring your own booze.
Please note the we kind of depend on the bar revenue to break even. Bar shifts are run by volunteers so please be generous with tipping.
CHECK-IN
Before you enter the premises, please register via the link in the group. If you arrive Thursday or Friday, you cannot miss the entrance. If you arrive later, please approach one of the hosts (Leo, Carla, David, Luisa, Moritz or Nic), they will check you in.
THE PREMISES
We party at a historic Dreiseitenhof and its huge garden. The Bauernhof has been owned by one orga bee's family for more than two decades now. We ask you to be considerate with the buildings and infrastructure that are kindly provided to us. Furthermore, please be aware of our neighbors who are quite tolerant but probably not infinitely patient..
Do not throw anything on the ground. Please bring a pocket ashtray.
FOOD
With your participation fee you were paying for 2 meals a day. Our lovely kitchen team is going to prepare vegan breakfasts and dinners from soups to curries. We include our meals in the general timetable and plan to stop dancing during foody time so that we can enjoy eating calmly and communally.
Please note: raving is a high-intensity pursuit, you probably want to bring additional snacks!
